Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the environmental component is taken in account in the geospatial data collection activities;
• Ensure that all settlement sites are not located in high risk zones;
• Coordinate all environmental management related activities.
• Assess the specific environmental issues related to the Rural settlement planning and development projects
• Prepare outlines of environmental issues or risks to be addressed during the implementation of rural settlement projects.
• Involve in the stakeholder consultation process with respect to environmental issues
• Prepare environmental check list for infrastructure development and the guidelines to be respected in rural settlement sites.
Job Skills: Not Specified
Job Qualifications: A0 in environmental studies, environmental management with experience of 2 years in rural settlement planning or Master’s degree in environmental studies, environmental management.
