JOB DETAILS:
RICEM is a technical and vocational institute for Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship, and Microfinance owned by the National Cooperatives Confederation of Rwanda (NCCR) and the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Rwanda (AMIR). From its inception, RICEM has the mission to provide capacity building and other business advisory services to Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) through trainings, skills transfer, Consultancy, research, and Technical support. To be a really sustainable answer to the professionalization of those three pillars namely Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance, RICEM would like to recruit High-Profile Head of Entrepreneurship .

Job Responsibilities
• Plan and organize Entrepreneurship trainings
• Coordination of the activities of the Entrepreneurship Department.
• Regular evaluation of the entrepreneurship progress through established monitoring and evaluation instruments
• Regular reporting to the Managing Director RICEM
• Identify all available opportunities in order to promote the entrepreneurship
• Prepare reports to management on the performance of the entrepreneurship department to ensure appropriate recommendations are given in order to enhance the achievement of targets
• Maintain good collaboration with both the new potential and existing partners
• Coordinate the activities of boot camps
• Organize field visits to successful entrepreneurs
• Oversee the activities of business and entrepreneurs identification

Job Qualifications
• At least a bachelor’s degree in any development studies, economics or business management discipline
• At least 4 years of previous work experience in a similar position, preferably with demonstrated leadership experience;
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English, and French is a must,
• Proven management skills, while demonstrating innovation, creativity, and leadership with a vision and dynamic leadership approach
• Good understanding of entrepreneurship concept
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; very good communication, presentation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
