Call for bids for Provision of Printing Services of handbags with a sticked project sticker/label. 

1. Project background information

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is partnering with AGRA to implement a two-year USAID funded Great Lakes Accelerated Innovation Delivery Initiative Rapid Delivery Hub (AID-I GLR). The project is implemented as response to addressing the immediate and long-term effects of the global food security crisis due to current Russia-Ukraine crisis that impacted food security. Its goal is to increase food and nutrition security through the rapid adoption at scale of proven technologies and innovation developed mainly by the IITA and partners.

AID-I GLR is being implemented to complement Gikuriro Kuri Bose (GKB) program food security interventions. It is implemented by a consortium led by International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), composed of Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), CRS, Private Seeds Companies, One Acre Fund, and World Vegetables Center, among others, and closely collaborating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources through Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Board (RAB) and other relevant Line Ministries.

Catholic Relief Services is leveraging on existing interventions under Gikuriro Kuri Bose Program, to include capacity building and messaging on adoption of high quality diverse nutritious crops, to ensure the quick uptake of agricultural technologies for increased productivity and income. 

CRS/Rwanda invites bids from eligible bidders high specialized in printing to submit their offers for the Provision of Printing Services of handbags with a sticked project sticker. The bid shall remain valid for a period of 90 days starting from the submission deadline.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Your offer must further take note of the following documents for evaluation purpose.                                                                                                                                          

Administrative documents

• Registration certificate issued by RDB.
• VAT and Valid Tax clearance certificates.
• Bid validity period should be 90days.
• Bids should be signed by an authorized company representative. 

Technical documents 

• Bid should specify maximum delivery period.
• The Bidder should have at least 2 years’ experience of providing similar printing services.
• At least 3 completion certificates of similar printing services.
• Submit the samples of a printed handbag with sticker to CRS Office before the deadline for bid submission.

Financial documents 

• Bidding documents quoted in Rwanda Francs (Rwf) for printing services based on technical specifications.
• The offer must specify if the prices are VAT inclusive or not. 

5. Application Procedures

Interested bidders are encouraged to send their applications to rwandabids@crs.org  no later than October 23^th, 2023, at 11: 00 a.m Kigali time. The title of the email must include: “Provision of Printing Services of handbags with a sticked project sticker/label.’’ and the application should be combined in one (1) document in PDF format. A late submission will not be considered.

All bidders are advised that this tender does not constitute in any way a commitment on the part of CRS or its agents, for any service requested.
