TENDER TITLE: Public Tender To supply Laptops

1. Background and rationale

Shora Neza is a WFP’s project in partnership with the Mastercard foundation (the foundation) implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI in Southern and Western Provinces with the aim to create new and strengthen existing employment opportunities for young men and women, while considering their different needs, through strengthened, interlinked, and efficient agricultural value chains. The activities under this partnership build from WFP’s existing initiatives and aligns with the Foundation’s ‘Young Africa Works strategy.

2. Context and Needs Justification

The project to be successful, the work must be planned, well implemented, data conserved and reported which always need the use of different materials including Computers/Laptops for both project management staffs and technical teams as the key materials to perform well their work.

It is in that perspective DUHAMIC-ADRI would like to procure the professional electronic devices to be used by new SHORA NEZA Project Staffs.

3. Technical specification for laptops to be purchased and quantity

Any bidder interested to apply for this tender has to fulfil the following conditions:

1. Being legally registered as Company authorized to operate in Rwanda (RDB Certificate)
2. Having an experience to supply Laptops proven by 3 certificates of good completion
3. A proof to use Electronic Billing Machine (EBM), a copy of invoice submitted in the past
4. Valid Tax clearance certificate provided by Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA)
5. The bidder must prove in writing a capacity to being able to deliver in 2 working days upon purchase order reception

The prices proposed in the financial proposal (quotations) shall include all taxes

Bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Executive Secretary of DUHAMIC-ADRI at Kicukiro head office no later than Monday 15 January 2024 at 10:00AM

The public opening of bids is scheduled on the same day at 10:30AM at the headquarters of DUHAMIC-ADRI.

Note: It is compulsory for all bidders to visit the sample of the required laptops; any bidder who fails to do so will be automatically disqualified.
