  Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct the preliminary socio - economic data collection, analysis and forecasts on specific rural socio economic challenges;
• Conduct the impact assessment on rural development projects;
• Assess the livelihood of resettled beneficiaries;
• Communicate to the management the report on socio- economic studies conducted and advise on the way forward;
• Prepare the terms of reference and technical specifications of the socio - economic impact studies to be carried out in rural areas;
• Disseminate the study findings to the concerned institutions and affected communities;
• Participate in the preparation of the concept notes and terms of reference of rural planning tools to ensure that socio- economic aspects are taken into consideration;
• Participate in the validation of the rural development projects to ensure that the social welfare of the affected communities is taken into consideration;
• Collaborate with Research and Development Specialist to conduct the socio- economic research;
