FXB Rwanda is a Local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working in Rwanda since 1995. FXB Rwanda is affiliated to FXB International that was created in 1989. FXB Rwanda intervenes in Economic strengthening, Nutrition, Health, WASH, Violence prevention, early childhood development, HIV/AIDS prevention, climate change and environment conservation.

Funded by Delegation of the European Union to Rwanda, FXB Rwanda is partnering with Entrepreneurship for Impact (E4Impact) to implement a project entitled “Food security Strengthening Technical and Recovery Intervention for Growth (FOSTERING)” in Nyabihu and Gakenke districts. FOSTERING project is implemented under the EU KUNGAHARA activity that is EU global response to the food security crisis and economic shocks. The FOSTERING project aims at promoting sustainable food production for local markets in Rwanda. This will be achieved by working with targeted agricultural cooperatives to improve their overall production thanks to improved agricultural techniques that will be taught, as well as improving their post-harvest management practices, through provision of enabling infrastructure. The targeted cooperatives are engaged   in cultivation and processing of the pineapples, passion fruits and sweet potatoes. 

FXB Rwanda would like to invite interested and qualified service providers to submit their bid documents for conducting a Baseline Assessment for Food security Strengthening Technical and Recovery Intervention for Growth (FOSTERING) Project” in Gakenke and Nyabihu Districts. The terms of Reference are found in the tender document available at FXB Rwanda coordination Office located at Ruyenzi Cell, Runda District, Kamonyi District or electronically at info@fxbrwanda.org upon presentation of ten thousand (10,000Frw) nonrefundable fees paid on the account number 25001965004 opened in I&M Bank in the name of Francois Xavier Bagnoud.

The bid document should include latest curriculum vitae/s of expert(s), a copy of RDB Registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, at least three performance letters or certificates of accomplishment for a similar assignment conducted in the last 5 years, RRA & RSSB Clearance Certificate in case of companies. Technical proposal that describes baseline conducting methodology, intended techniques for sampling and data collection, intended data analysis techniques, proposed course of the assignment; and cost proposal. The application file also needs to have at least two certificates of completion of similar assignments and related sample reports if available.

The bids documents in a sealed envelope (technical and cost proposal in different envelops) shall be submitted to FXB Rwanda coordination office on the address mentioned above no later than Friday December 4, 2023 by 5:00 P.M. No electronic copy allowed.
