Profile of DUHAMIC-ADRI

DUHAMIC -ADRI is a Kinyarwanda acronym that stands for Duharanira Amajyambere y’Icyaro.

Translating to ‘’ we strive for the development of the rural community ‘’in English.

It is a non-profit organization located in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, within the Kicukiro district, Niboye sector.it was established in 1979 by a group of Rwandans who identified the crucial need for rural development in the country. 

DUHAMIC-ADRI is a Non-Governmental Organization legally granted by Rwandan law and legally recognized by the Ministerial Order No. 943 of July 12, 1985. Its statutes were amended and accepted by the Ministerial OrderNo.025/11of21th March 2005. With the vision to have « A rural world responsible for its self-socio-economic development », DUHAMIC-ADRI has a mission of « Supporting integrated development through the initiatives of the rural population in their struggle for self-development». DUHAMIC-ADRI’s interventions reaches 27 districts of Rwanda as follow: Kicukiro, Nyarugenge, Burera, Gakenke, Gicumbi, Musanze, Rulindo in Northern Province; Gisagara; Huye; Kamonyi; Muhanga; Nyamagabe; Nyanza; Nyaruguru and Ruhango in South Province; Nyabihu; Nyamasheke; Rubavu; Rusizi and Rutsiro of Western Province and then Gatsibo; Kayonza; Kirehe; Ngoma; Nyagatare and Rwamagana of Eeastern Province. 

It is in this context, that DUHAMIC-ADRI invites all eligible vehicle repair garages and service providers in Rwanda to submit their competitive and equitable prices for good quality productsand services for Service A, Service B, and Service C, along with the required spare parts for the vehicles listed in the table below: 

TENDER TITLE: Public Tender to hire a vehicle repair garage/service provider 

The deadline for submission of bids: Wednesday 7^th February 2024 at 10:00 AM 

Bid submission Time: 10:00 AM 

Bid Opening Time: 10:30AM

Duration of the contract

The contract will be for 1-year with possibility of renewal based on the performance 

Essential documents

1. Letter for expression of interest
2. Financial proposal
3. Company registration certificate
4. RRA valid Tax clearance
5. Proof of using EBM
6. Proven experience of vehicle repair maintenance assigned work to perform given by at least three trusted clients;
7. Three certifications of good completion for similar services

Criteria of eligibility for bidders 

To be eligible, any bidder interested to apply for this tender has to fulfill the following conditions:

1. Being a legally registered vehicle repair maintenance company authorized to operate in Rwanda
2. The company, Agency or Society must have a minimum experience of 4 years in vehicle repair maintenance
3. DUHAMIC ADRI intends to make an appraisal visit to the garage before making the final decision 

Note: Providing quotations for additional goods and services not specified above will be advantageous for bidders. These additional items/services will be evaluated separately. 

Bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Executive Secretary of DUHAMIC-ADRI at Kicukiro head office no later than Wednesday 7^th February 2024 at 10:00 AM 

The public opening of bids is fixed on the same day at 10:30AM at DUHAMIC-ADRI Offices located in Kicukiro district.
