JOB DETAILS:
The HIV/AIDS Trainers will support Health department HIV Program in trainings for Health care providers and volunteers who are implementing HIV Program activities in Mahama II. Save the Children through its programs is striving to develop context-specific models to improve the quality of health services for the community in Mahama camp; so the health providers and volunteers need to receive knowledge, skills to facilitate in service provision care and support among clients in our catchment area.
The trainers will play a key role in the providing training to Health care providers and volunteers in order to attend specific objectives: to increase knowledge and skills on HIV prevention in Mahama refugee camp, to raise community awareness on HIV Testing and Counselling (HTC), to mobilize community for HIV prevention, and to conduct a counselling sessions on HIV Testing among refugee in Mahama camp.
This training aims to build their capacity and improve the quality of service delivery both at health facility and community level while conducting in every day service delivery among Burundian Refugees.
