JOB DETAILS:
Job description
In order to support the growing of its IT portfolio business, the company is now seeking for an Onsite Engineer with at least three years of experience in IT industry. This position requires fieldwork, which may include overtime, sometimes working during weekends and holidays if needed
Job responsibilities
The Onsite Engineer will be a member of the team in charge of supporting client’s requests during ICT projects implementation and support.
His/her duties also include collaboration with different subcontractors and partners involved in the implementation of different ICT projects.
The Onsite Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform site survey, collect requirements during the development/initiation of new projects, and be able to prepare the bill of quantities
  
• Manage and set up new hardware by following IT policies and procedures
  
• Supervise onsite works, ensure testing and inspection of deliverables/equipment are performed as per accepted standards and meet the agreed specifications
  
• Support and provide guidance to subcontractor’s team during the implementation of assigned projects
  
• Provide update on project progress and notify any impending changes; escalate issues that cannot be solved at the ground level to his line manager
  
• Be the first level point of contact within AoS for an assigned project component or activity
  
• Perform routine maintenance to supplied IT equipment or solution when required
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as: issue logs, lessons learned, and etc. for different projects
  
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
  Job requirements
  The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
  
• Three years of experience in the implementation of ICT projects
  
• In-dept understanding of technology based services, products and networking
  
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications
  
• Experience in the implementation and supporting CCTV equipment and facilities such as FMS, VMS is regarded as an added advantage
  
• Proven experience of working in a high pressured corporate environment
  
• A person of proven integrity, highly motivated, innovative and a team player
  Education/ Experience
  
• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or related field OR
  
• 2-year diploma in the above areas and minimum six years of work experience in the related fields of the diploma
  
• Three years of experience in implementation of ICT project
  Certifications (Added Advantage)
  
• CompTIA A+ and /or CCNA,
  
• Certificates or trainings for Information Communication Technology system and Security equipment (Firewall/Web Firewall/DDoS prevention equipment)
  
• MCP or MCS desirable but not required.
