Horizon Logistics Ltd, a government-owned logistics company incorporated in 2010 and headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, specializing in Clearing & Forwarding, Transportation, and General Trading, is seeking to recruit highly experienced and competent professionals to strengthen its operations, support strategic growth, and enhance organizational effectiveness in the following areas:

Director of Business Development (1)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals.
• Identify new markets and partnership opportunities.
• Lead client acquisition and maintain key relationships.
• Oversee bids, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Set revenue growth targets and monitor performance.
• Lead marketing initiatives and represent the company externally.
• Lead, mentor, and support the business development team.

Job Requirements

• Strong business development, sales strategy, and marketing skills.
• Leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management
• Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

Required Qualification & Professional Experience

• A Relevant Post Graduate Qualification (master’s in Business administration or strategic management).
• 6 years plus of relevant professional experience.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 72

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
