The Livelihoods Fund SICAV SIF is an impact investment fund, financed by 10 European corporates for the restoration & conservation of natural ecosystems in developing countries. The fund directly invests in projects which deliver 3 main impacts: i) they generate certified carbon offsets to enable corporates to compensate their carbon footprint ii) they sequester/avoid GHG emissions to tackle climate change and iii) they generate positive social & environmental impacts for the local communities engaged in these projects. 

The Albertine Rift Conservation Society (ARCOS Network) is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving biodiversity while advancing the well-being of local communities ARCOS Network has, since its inception in 1995, worked at the intersection of people and nature, ensuring that conservation efforts are inclusive, equitable, and sustainable. 

In collaboration with Livelihoods Fund, Bugesera and Rulindo Districts, ARCOS Network is since 2020 implementing a 20-year carbon project, with the objective to restore 15,209 ha of degraded land and sequester what is estimated at 2.2 million t CO2e in 20 years through the plantation, growing 3.7 million trees including fruits, native and other fast-growing trees, and empower 27,000 small holder farmers. 

After 5 years of Implementation, ARCOS Network in collaboration with Livelihoods Fund, would like to hire a qualified organization (research institution, Company, Consultancy firm, or individuals) to submit technical and financial proposals for Conducting the audit of trees planted between 2020 and 2024 in both Rulindo and Bugesera Districts.

This tender is open to all interested bidders under equal conditions. Bidding documents are available at the ARCOS Head Office, located at KN 14 Avenue, No. 47, Kimihurura, Kigali.

Interested bidders may obtain the complete tender document in English, upon presentation of proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Rwandan Francs (10,000 RWF). The fee must be deposited into the following bank account:

The tender document will be available from 19th to 26th November 2025 at 3:00 PM.

Tender submission requirements:

Interested bidders must submit a complete bid package including:

• Title and reference number of the tender
• Administrative document (Tax clearance, EBM, Company profile) Technical and financial proposal
• At Least 3 certificates awarded for similar work done
• All proposals must:

• Be written in English
• Be submitted in two copies (original and one copy), both properly bound
• Be enclosed in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender title and reference number

Deadline for submission:
All submissions must be delivered to the ARCOS Head Office (KN 14 Avenue, No. 47, Kimihurura) no later than 3rd December 2025 at 3:00 PM.

Tender Opening:

The opening of bids will take place on the same day, 3rd December 2025 at 3:30 PM, at the ARCOS office in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives.
