One Acre Fund - TUBURA is an agricultural NGO working in various East African countries to support smallholder farmers. We offer each of our members a range of services, including local delivery of agricultural inputs on credit and training, with the goal of increasing harvests and incomes. Established in Burundi in 2012, we are a rapidly growing organization, now with over 1,600 permanent staff nationwide.
Job Description
The Recruitment Intern (Rwanda) will be a member of our Recruitment team. You will support the Operations sub-team. You will report to the Recruitment Manager in Rwanda and will also work closely with other members of the global team.
Responsibilities
- You will perform the recurring tasks necessary for the smooth running of our recruitment operations, taking care to minimize errors.
- You will oversee the candidate selection and evaluation process, from application submission to hiring. You will provide excellent customer service to all candidates and take genuine pleasure in mastering every detail.
- You will manage the candidate database using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track applicants and analyze data to improve our processes.
- Project/process improvement: In collaboration with your manager, you will support change and improvement strategies for our recruitment systems, using data to achieve results.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in any relevant field of study.
Desired (but not mandatory) qualities:
- 6 to 12 months of experience in human resources, administration or similar roles in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse) is desirable but not required.
- An experience of collaboration with different stakeholders.
- Basic data analysis skills (ability to identify trends).
- An ability to maintain up-to-date tracking spreadsheets in Excel or Google Sheets.
- A great capacity for learning, curiosity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent command of French and English.
