Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, contract administration, and financial aspects of our construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
- Manage project budgets and cost control processes
- Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments and variations
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Monitor project financial performance and report on cost status
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
- Support procurement and project teams with cost-related inputs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
- Experience working for a main contractor on construction projects
- Mandatory experience in large-scale construction projects involving 10+ story buildings
- Strong experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration
- Proven track record in managing project costs and delivering within budget
- Experience with both civil/structural and MEP works is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and financial management skills
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Applicants must attach references and project completion certificates for similar projects handled
