The Challenge

ADFinance Rwanda LTD is looking for its Chief Commercial Officer; and the honest answer is that this person is hard to find. The role requires genuine technical fluency (you understand what a core banking system and an ERP actually do), strong managerial and organizational skills to build and run a sales function end to end, and real sales acumen to close. Not everyone who can manage can sell. Not everyone who can sell can lead strategy. We need the full package.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the company’s entire commercial engine. That means developing and executing the commercial roadmap, leading the sales team, driving marketing and positioning for both ADFinance’s flagship ADBanking solution and its ERP offering, building strategic partnerships, winning competitive bids, and growing revenue by 20–30% annually across 10 countries in Africa. You will also be the face of the product (at industry events, in demos, in thought leadership content), and the voice that brings client feedback back to the development teams.

Results Expected

The results expected of you are clear: a sales pipeline that converts, revenue targets met or exceeded, at least three new institutional partnerships per year, a 90%+ client retention rate, and a marketing presence that builds ADFinance’s brand in a fast-moving Fintech market.

What This Demands of You

This will require approximately 50 days of travel per year across Africa. It will require written excellence in both English and French. It will require you to be as comfortable in a boardroom closing a deal as you are building a structured CRM process back at the office.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred) and bring 5+ years of commercial leadership experience in fintech, banking, or IT solutions. A proven track record in B2B sales is essential. Experience in ERP implementation or the banking industry is a strong advantage. Kinyarwanda or Swahili is an asset.

The Company

ADFinance delivers digital financial solutions and integrated business management systems to Microfinance Institutions and enterprises across the region. The company operates in 10 African countries, and is growing. There is no heavy bureaucracy here: decisions get made, new ideas get heard, and commercial wins get rewarded. The team is young, dynamic, and results- oriented, and the company shares its growth with the people who drive it.

What’s on Offer

You will receive a competitive package combining a fixed base salary and performance-based commission, along with pension, medical insurance, and a company vehicle for business travel.
