4 Job Positions of Data Manager A1/A2 at Musanze District (MUSANZE)

Responsibilities or duties

  • Medical Statistics strategy in accordance with the strategic plan of the hospital
  • Ensure the security of data
  • Provide all data related to the patients and researchers
  • Plan and monitor all activities of the service
  • Define and provide guidelines and methods for data collected and data analysis in the hospital
  • Analyze and interpret statistical data in order to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information
  • Evaluate the statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data in order to ensure validity applicability, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Supervise and provide instructions for workers collecting and tabulating data.
  • Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.
  • Consolidate statistical reports from different services and projects operating under hospital.
  • Entry data in database
  • Determine appropriate statistical policies and procedures
  • Collection, analysis, interpretation and production of hospital Statistics
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semester and annual reports
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Statistics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics
  • Fluency in Kinyaranda English and or French knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage
  • Team work and team building skills;
  • Writing and reading skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Confidentiality, ethical and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Psychometric Languages: English, Français
  • Psychometric Domains: Critical thinking, Problem solving, Time management

Experience needed

  • 0 Year of relevant experience
