Responsibilities or duties

  • Support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of organizational databases to ensure availability, security, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Perform routine database operational activities, including backups, restoration, access management, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, procedures, and authorized data extracts when required.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams or vendors for resolution.
  • Support the day-to-day administration and operation of the Core Banking System.
  • Configure Core Banking System products, parameters, workflows, user roles, and other approved system settings.
  • Investigate and resolve system incidents, transaction errors, data-related issues, and user-reported problems.
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, testing, and implementation of approved changes.
  • Assist users and business teams with Core Banking System functionality and operational requirements.
  • Support reporting, audit, regulatory, and management information requirements.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement system improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for system configurations, database activities, scripts, changes, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all database and system activities comply with the organization’s policies, security standards, and change-management procedures.
