Responsibilities or duties

  • Manage daily operations of BSL-2 greenhouses and screenhouses facilities.
  • Oversee containment, plant maintenance, and biosafety compliance
  • Coordinate planting, maintenance, phenotyping, and trait efficacy evaluation of biotech materials
  • Implement SOPs for greenhouse operations, pest management, waste disposal, and safety
  • Support progression of lead events from tissue culture to greenhouse and field trials
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for plant materials and trials
  • Train technical staff on greenhouse management and biosafety procedures.
  • Support inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Master's in Rural Development

Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies

Experience needed

5 Years of relevant experience

Exams to be conducted: 1:PsychometricTest 2:Written 3:Oral
