The management of Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) informs the public that it is recruiting competent, qualified and experienced staff to fill the following position.
Head of Human Resources Unit. .

Key responsibilities:
• Spearhead development of a human resources management strategy for the company, that reflects and supports the operational goals and in line with the relevant legislations;
• Develop and implement optimal performance management systems and processes that will enable the company to align employee activities to organisational goals, clearly monitor and measure and reward performance and help to maximise employee productivity;
• Ensure that the company has optimal compensation and benefits systems, processes and standards that ensure that pay structures are in line with market, that they allow EUCL to attract and retain quality staff and are cost efficient. Regularly carry out or participate in salary surveys so as to stay abreast with market pay standards;
• Ensure that EUCL has in place comprehensive job descriptions that are clearly aligned to the organisation structure, reflect the appropriate accountability levels for each position and clearly specify required qualifications and competencies;
• Provide leadership to the Human Resource department staff and supervise and manage their performance and development in line with the Organization’s goals, objectives, policies and regulations.
• Take all reasonable and practicable steps to maintain a safe and healthy working environment which complies with statutory requirements.
• Manage employee discipline and ensure compliance with EUCL internal legislation, rules and regulations in all instances. Put in place and manage appropriate employee grievances management procedures that ensure the speedy and effective resolution of employee grievances and promote employee motivation and commitment.

Job Qualifications:
• Master’s degree (Msc) in Human Resource management, social sciences, organisational/occupational psychology with at least 5 years of experience in Human Resource management, 2 of which should be at manager level
• Bachelor’s degree (A0) in Human Resource management, social sciences, organisational/occupational psychology; with at least 8 years of experience in Human Resource management, 3 of which should be at manager level
