Job Brief
Responsible for designing, scheduling and coordinating the planned maintenance workload for the Maintenance Section - building and maintaining the Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS), preparing work packs, and ensuring the right job is executed by the right team at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine the Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) based on OEM recommendations and operating data.
- Plan and schedule weekly/monthly maintenance work, balancing PM tasks, corrective orders and production priorities.
- Prepare detailed work packs (scope, parts, tools, procedures, labour hours) and coordinate maintenance windows with Production.
- Generate, release and track work orders; manage backlog and report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Coordinate spare parts availability with the Storekeeper; monitor consumption and recommend MIN/MAX corrections.
- Track planning KPIs (PM compliance, schedule compliance, MTBF/MTTR) and weekly planning reports.
- Maintain CMMS data integrity, job plans and task libraries; embed safety/PPE/LOTO requirements into job plans.
Requirements:
- A1 Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or related field; Bachelor's degree an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or a hands-on maintenance role with planning exposure.
- Proficiency in CMMS/EAM platforms (e.g. SAP PM, Maximo, Pragma, Fiix) and advanced MS Excel/MS Project skills.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and auto-electrical systems; ability to read P&IDs and OEM manuals.
- Highly organised, analytical and able to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
