Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business and operational risk management frameworks, policies, and monitoring programmes;
• Conduct risk assessments and identify key risks relevant to the area of responsibility;
• Maintain and update risk registers, working with risk owners on mitigation plans;
• Monitor risk indicators and escalate emerging risks to the Chief Risk Officer;
• Prepare risk management reports for management and the Risk Management Committee;
• Advise operational teams on risk management requirements and best practices;
• Support development and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans;
• Supervise and build the capacity of the risk management team;
• Liaise with internal audit and compliance on risk-related findings;
• Perform any other risk management duties assigned by the Chief Risk Officer;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or any other relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in business and operational risk management, of which 2 years must be at supervisory level;
• Professional risk management certification (FRM, CRMA, CISA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
