Under Contract

Responsibilities or duties,

  • Plan and conduct plant disease diagnostics, screening, and characterization for target crops
  • Develop, optimize, and implement laboratory protocols for plant pathology applications
  • Implement disease resistance efficacy assessments for transgenic and gene-edited events under containment conditions
  • Generate pathology data to support regulatory, environmental, and food/feed safety dossiers.
  • Prepare technical reports and scientific publications
  • Develop and implement SOPs for plant pathology and disease diagnostics.
  • Support disease monitoring during greenhouse and confined field trials.
  • Supervise pathology technicians and support staff.
  • Contribute to training and mentorship of technical staff and students.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor
