BACKGROUND.
Africa Development and Education Foundation (ADEF) is a nonprofit international nongovernmental organization whose vision is Education for Sustainable development. Promoting Education is given much attention through organizations’ intervention programs that acts as a catalyst towards the realization of developmental oriented education by supporting the beneficiaries to be equipped with technical skills competitive to the labor market. Africa's development and education foundation was first registered in Rwanda in 2005.
ADEF-TVET School seeks to recruit highly qualified, self- motivated and hardworking professionals for the following position
Trainer/ Teacher- Welding .

Key Responsibilities
• Effectively implement the program’s life skills interventions.
• Developing lesson plans.
• Teaching basic welding techniques.
• Helping students to acquire specialized skills.
• Selecting materials for classes, recommending training equipment, and adhering to safety regulations.


Job Skills:
• A showcase of welding expertise, instruction abilities, patience, and perseverance. Evaluation skills, recordkeeping, and organization.
• Extensive knowledge of Rwanda country education system, policies, and strategies.
• The capable communicator in English; including written
• Conversance with French and Arabic an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and client-orientated with a strong sense of personal ethics, integrity, and quality.
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
• High level of flexibility and tolerance to ambiguity.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, powerpoint and other work-related software.


Required Experience
• Minimum of A2 in Welding
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in training.
