Background
FINANCIAL SAFETY COMPANY (FISA CO) PLC a microfinance institution registered by Rwanda Development Board under company code number 103127995 and licensed by National Bank of Rwanda (BNR). It was established on 4 November, 2013 and operating in Rwanda with the main value ―Inclusive finance for development, while its main mission is ―Facilitating access to client- driven financial services and accompanying non-financial services to all financial excluded population mainly those living in rural areas, with a particular focus on farmers, entrepreneurs, women and youth especially living in rural areas in order to enable them saving and creating small income generating projects and reduce poverty.
Requirements
- Be of Rwandan nationality;
- Bachelor's degree in management, economics, finance and other similar fields; having a Certified Microfinance Practitioner(CMP) certificate issued by RICEM is an added value;
- At least two-years relevant experience in bank or Microfinance business related field with one year on managerial position
- Proficiency in Kinyarwanda, English and French;
- Be computer literate (Word, Excel) and have strong knowledge of any core banking system,
- To be of good moral character, family and social reputation
- Ensure the coordination of the administrative, financial and accounting management of the branch;
- Ensure good customer service in the branch under his/her responsibility;
- Maintain ongoing contact with the Branch's clients;
- Ensure the growth of the Branch in terms of customers, deposits, loans and Share Capital;
- Ensure the profitability of the branch according to the objective set in the budget;
- Maintain the NPL rate below 5%; and make the action plan for the recovery of the NPL is above 5%.
- Ensure that all loan applications are analyzed and disbursed within a period not exceeding 15 days;
- Implement the institutions’ policies in the branch;
- Develop the Branch’s annual action plan and budget in accordance with the objectives and direction of FISA CO PLC;
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Director of Operations;
- Ensure the harmonious working environment;
- Maintain fruitful relationships with third parties and represent the Institution in its area of work;
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated
- High Integrity and Ethical Conduct
- Proficiency in Kinyarwanda, English and French
- Computer literate (Word, Excel)
