Bursar

Responsibilities or duties

ï‚·Prepare financial reports as required;

ï‚·Prepare annual budgets ;

ï‚·Undertake bookkeeping of expenses;

ï‚·Undertake monthly bank reconciliations;

ï‚·Keep the accounts of the school and balance sheets in accordance with policies and guidelines;

ï‚·Ensure accounts are prepared for audit at the end of the year;

ï‚·Maintain cash flow projections for the current and future years;

ï‚·Oversee the payment of all invoices;

ï‚·Keep analysis of costs and other statistical records;

ï‚·Manage all bank accounts;

ï‚·Filing of annual accounts;

ï‚·Prepare income-generating projects for the school;

ï‚·Manage contractual staff of the school;

ï‚·Prepare and dispatch letters;

ï‚·Take care of school assets like furniture, buildings, land, and others

ï‚·Receive and guide school visitors;

Organize and file minutes of School Administration meeting, staff meeting, SGAC meeting, School General Assembly and other stakeholders’ meetings;

And any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
