The Project
Within the Special Initiative "Decent Work for a Just Transition" of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented among others by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, sequa implements the project "Pilot SME Support Scheme targeting growth-oriented SMEs" in Rwanda. sequa aims to facilitate business growth and job creation of Rwandan small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by increasing their competitiveness and productivity so that their products and services will satisfy the demand in local and international markets. A specific focus will be provided on women-owned SMEs, job creation, and employability training for women. No sectoral focus is foreseen.
