Job Responsibilities

  • Supervising workers, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Managing resources and maintaining schedules.
  • Acting as a communication link between workers and management.
  • Monitoring progress, enforcing safety regulations, assigning tasks, and providing technical guidance to the team.
  • Guiding masons and manpower by providing technical expertise in accordance with MINEDUC standards and drawings.
  • Reporting weekly (or as needed) on work progress to the district level, with a copy to the Executive Secretary of the relevant sector.
  • Ensuring construction works adhere to MINEDUC norms and standards.
  • Safeguarding all materials, tools, and equipment, and preparing utilization reports for district and sector levels.
  • Maintaining daily records of work completed and materials used in the site book.
  • Upholding ethical values and maintaining confidentiality during and after the contract period.
  • Submitting daily reports via text message to the District School Construction Engineer and/or MINEDUC School Construction Field Officer.
  • Performing duties with the highest standards of professional and ethical competence.
  • Ensuring project activities comply with site-specific ESMP, Environmental and Social Standards, and other safeguard requirements.
  • Facilitating the grievance redress mechanism at the site level.

  • Advanced Diploma in Road Engineering & Construction (0 years of relevant experience)
  • Advanced Diploma in Building & Construction (0 years of relevant experience)
  • A2 in Carpentry (0 years of relevant experience)
  • Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering with RTQF Level 5 (S6) in Masonry Construction Technology (0 years of relevant experience)
  • Advanced Diploma in Construction (0 years of relevant experience)
  • A2 Certificate in Construction Technology (0 years of relevant experience)
  • A2 Certificate in Building Construction (0 years of relevant experience)
  • Construction Technology (0 years of relevant experience)
  • CONSTRUCTION (0 years of relevant experience)
  • Advanced Diploma (A1) in Structural Engineering with RQF Level 5 (S6) in Construction or Masonry (0 years of relevant experience)
