Job Description
The Purchaser/Procurement Officer will manage the procurement of goods and services to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition in compliance with organizational policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and supplier terms.
- Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage inventory needs and procurement records.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
