General Description:
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the marketing and communications strategy to promote the image of ATLANTIQUE MICROFINANCE Plc in the national market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the Marketing strategy in line with the PMT (Plan Marketing Territorial) in consultation with the Head of Operations and the General Management;
- Participate in translating marketing into operational action plans;
- Conduct competitive intelligence;
- Assist the subsidiary's network in the implementation of development plans;
- Manage external communications in consultation with the General Management;
- Lead strategic projects on behalf of ATLANTIQUE MICROFINANCE Plc with the support of consulting firms;
- Participate in the execution of communication campaigns;
- Continuously monitor commercialization to adjust product strategy;
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research;
- Manage relationships with partners.
Competencies:
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and/or a similar field;
- Have proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, ideally in the banking or microfinance sector;
- Communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to write reports and summaries;
- Planning and time management skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, and PPT);
- Proficiency in Kinyarwanda, French, and English;
- Experience in digitization and alternative distribution channels;
- Creative, innovative, visionary.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Must have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, and must be able to speak and write French.
