Job Title: Acceleration & Advisory (A&A) Program Lead
Employer: SINAPIS
Role Level: Assistant Manager
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: EA Director of Acceleration & Advisory (dotted line to Rwanda Country Manager)
Position Summary
The Acceleration & Advisory (A&A) Program Lead is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth, impact, and operational excellence of the Sinapis’s flagship acceleration and advisory programs in Rwanda.
This role owns the full lifecycle of the A&A portfolio — from sourcing and selecting high-potential, faith-driven entrepreneurs to cultivating investor relationships, overseeing program execution, and designing long-term alumni (“Multiplier”) engagement strategies.
The A&A Program Lead will position the Organisation as a trusted bridge between Kingdom-minded entrepreneurs and growth capital while ensuring measurable spiritual, social, and economic transformation. This is a high-impact role requiring a visionary yet hands-on leader with strong business acumen and deep alignment with the Sinapis’s Christ-centered mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Strategy & Leadership
- Lead end-to-end planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the A&A portfolio.
- Define and monitor KPIs related to business growth, job creation, capital raised, and spiritual discipleship.
- Ensure program financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and high participant satisfaction.
- Align all program activities with the Organisation’s mission and core values.
- Lead and mentor program staff, advisors, and consultants to maintain excellence in delivery.
2. Pipeline Development & Investor Relations
- Design and execute a strategy to source, screen, and onboard high-potential entrepreneurs into the A&A pipeline.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, impact funds, corporates, and financial institutions across East Africa.
- Develop structured processes to connect portfolio companies with appropriate capital opportunities (pitch events, curated introductions, investment readiness support).
- Serve as the Organisation’s primary representative to the investment community, articulating pipeline quality and impact thesis.
- Track and report investment outcomes and capital mobilization metrics.
3. Partnership & Ecosystem Development
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with corporates, NGOs, government agencies, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Position the Organisation as a credible, mission-aligned partner within Rwanda’s entrepreneurship and faith-based development ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal and regional teams to co-create initiatives that strengthen sustainability and influence.
- Represent the Organisation at ecosystem forums, industry events, and strategic meetings.
4. Multiplier (Alumni) & Post-Program Engagement
- Develop and implement the alumni engagement strategy to ensure long-term impact beyond program completion.
- Foster a vibrant alumni community through events, peer learning forums, targeted communications, and advisory access.
- Establish systems to track long-term business growth, capital raised, job creation, and community impact.
- Facilitate continued access to mentors, investors, and market opportunities for alumni entrepreneurs.
- Use alumni data to refine program design and demonstrate ROI to partners and funders.
5. Mission & Values Leadership
- Embody and champion the Organisation’s core values: Relational, Excellent, Joyful, Open-handed, Innovative, Christ-centered, Eager to serve, and Wise steward.
- Provide spiritual mentorship and encouragement to entrepreneurs where appropriate.
- Actively contribute to fostering a Christ-centered organizational culture grounded in prayer, fellowship, and integrity.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Leadership
- 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in venture capital, impact investing, management consulting, business development, entrepreneurship, or accelerator leadership.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in building investor networks and closing strategic partnerships.
Program & Operational Expertise
- 5+ years of experience designing, managing, and scaling accelerator, advisory, or leadership development programs.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capability for performance tracking and impact measurement.
- Experience working within the East African entrepreneurial ecosystem is strongly preferred.
