Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial health through accurate accounting and reporting.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
• Provide financial information and analysis to management when required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Epicor, or similar systems).
