Position Description

The accounts assistant will support the Finance Manager and Human resources department

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: check and scrutinize invoices for accuracy.
  • Check goods and order to be sure they have been received.
  • Assist with day to day operations of the finance department, including general report and budget review.
  • Maintains Outlook calendar(s) in current and accurate status.
  • Perform general clerical cum administration support including mail-outs, photocopying, filing, and equipped supplies.
  • Assist and deputize on behalf of the finance manager.
  • Reconcile bank statements by comparing transactions to the finance manager.
  • Maintain financial records for client companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
  • Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
  • Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor Degree required in Finance, accounting or related fields.
  • 1 year+ of accounting or finance
  • Microsoft Word: Mail merge and know how to embed documents
  • Microsoft Excel: (transferring Word documents to Excel and editing spreadsheets)
  • Strong knowledge in the use of one of the following software: Tally system, sage pastel accounting system, QuickBooks accounting software…

Core Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
  • Must be able to work Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
