Assistant lecture in Irrigation and Drainage Technology at RP Gishari College (RP-GISHARI)
Responsibilities or duties
- Teach/Train students in areas assigned by the institution.
- Conduct lecture planning, preparation and research.
- Engage in professional and personal development.
- Engage with broader scholarly and professional community outreach activities.
- Mentor and coach junior academic staff tutorial assistants) and participate in their evaluation.
- Participate in income generating activities of the institution.
- Supervision and facilitation of student’s projects and mentorship
- Facilitate students in in the industrial attachment
- Provide professional and technical advice to the institution
- Conducting training needs assessment in line with the curriculum.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisors.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
N.B: A candidate must have:
- Transcript or Degree showing at least a second-class upper division.
- One publication in a peer-reviewed index Journal.

Master’s Degree in Soil and Water Management
Master's degree in Agriculture Engineering
Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Water Engineering
Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Drainage
Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering
