Position overview
We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive, compliant, and high-quality bids. The role involves monitoring tender opportunities, collaborating across technical and finance teams, and ensuring proposals meet all requirements while aligning with strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the lead liaison between technical and finance departments to ensure bids are competitive, compliant, and submitted on time.
- Identify and monitor tender opportunities from public and private procurement platforms.
- Lead bid preparation, coordinate teams, and manage deadlines.
- Draft and structure proposals, executive summaries, company profiles, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, RFPs, and evaluation criteria.
- Maintain a repository of templates, documents, staff CVs, and past proposals.
- Track bid submissions, outcomes, and support continuous improvement of bidding processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Project Management, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in tender management, proposal writing, or procurement.
- Procurement certification required (e.g., CPS or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of public/private procurement, tendering processes, and competitive bidding.
- Excellent technical writing, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of IT company operations, including management, procurement processes, technology, and people required to deliver IT services efficiently.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
