JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

The Secondary School Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality subject instruction that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship. The teacher will inspire learners to achieve their full potential while preparing them for higher education and future careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject(s) in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and examinations.
• Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, and learner-centred classroom environment.
• Integrate ICT and innovative instructional strategies into teaching.
• Mentor and guide learners academically and personally.
• Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Support school clubs, sports, and other co-curricular programmes.
• Maintain accurate academic records and reports.
• Promote Christian values, professionalism, and positive learner behaviour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
• Teaching registration or certification recognized by the relevant authority.
• Strong ICT integration skills.

Experience

• Previous teaching experience at secondary school level is preferred.
