Guidelines For the Competition for Delivering Pineapple Rejects Tender at INADES-Formation Rwanda

INADES-Formation Rwanda wants to purchase fifteen thousand pineapple suckers (15,000 pineapple suckers) for farmers in the districts of Bugesera (Mareba, Ngeruka and Nyarugenge sectors), Nyamagabe  (Cyanika, Mbazi and Musange sectors) and Rwamagana (Gishari, Karenge and Muyumbu sectors). These pineapple suckers must be of the Smooth Cayenne variety. 

CONDITIONS FOR SUBMITTING 

Eligible bidders must be natural or legal persons with legal personality and registered with the RDB (Rwanda Development Board). They must be able to submit an EBM invoice after completing the delivery of the entire quantity of pineapple rejects to be delivered.

The bidder must also:

Deliver the pineapple offshoots of the Smooth Cayenne variety

Ensure the transport of these discharges to the administrative units indicated in the table below:

• Indicate where the pineapple field is located where the pineapple offshoots will be harvested. 

• Accept that the staff of INADES-Formation Rwanda visit his pineapple field in which the pineapple offshoots will be harvested.

Pineapple Rejects Wanted

The pineapple offshoots sought are those of the  Smooth Cayenne variety,  at the age to be transplanted. Each offshoot should weigh between  400 and 500 grams .

The submission package must include the following documents:

The bidder must submit to the headquarters of INADES-Formation Rwanda, a well-sealed envelope containing the
following documents:

• The price for one waste disposal unit, including transport to the aforementioned administrative units; as well as the price for all waste disposal units, including transport to the indicated locations. The bidder must also indicate whether or not VAT is included in the stated price. 
• A certificate issued by RDB or RCA allowing him to perform his duties on Rwandan soil. 

Submission and opening dates for tender documents

The sealed envelopes must be submitted to the INADES-Formation Rwanda headquarters located in Remera, Kigali, below the Christus Centre, no later than  20/03/2026  at  2:00 PM . The envelopes will be opened the same day in the presence of the bidders who wish to do so, or their representatives.
