Call for proposals for Bidders for the BSR Server Hardware, Software upgrade, Configurations and Installation Tender at Bible Society of Rwanda (BSR)

The Bible Society of Rwanda, is a Christian non-governmental organization that serves churches and the public by translating, publishing, and distributing the Holy Scriptures in a manner that is readily understandable for everyone. BSR invites eligible companies to submit proposals for the upgrade of its server hardware and software, including installation and configurations. 

BSR requires a server solution that is remotely accessible, secure, and efficient.

Current Server Specifications:

• Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
• Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz 2.10GHz
• RAM: 16.0 GB
• System Type: 64-bit OS
• Installed Software requiring upgrade and remote access: Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 18.0

Scope of Work: The successful bidder will be responsible for the following:

• Hardware Upgrade (RAM)
• Software Upgrade to the Latest Windows Server version
• Updated QuickBooks with the latest version, backup and re-deployment
• Publishing the necessary software for the server remote access

Submission of Requirements: All bidders must comply with the following terms for bid submission:

• A comprehensive server upgrade proposal.
• A copy of the company license from RDB in the name of the bidding company.
• Personal/Company experience
• RSSB Clearance certificate
• RRA Tax Clearance certificate
• Certificate of Completion of work as a sign of company ability to accomplish tasks.
• Ability to invoice the Bible Society of Rwanda with an accepted EBM invoice.

Submission Deadline: Quotations must be submitted to the BSR Offices at Kacyiru or sent via email to bsrwanda@biblesociety-rwanda.org not later than August 26th, 2026, at 10:00 AM Local time.
