Job Purpose
The Corporate Partnerships Lead is responsible for developing and growing strategic private-sector partnerships that accelerate Solid'Africa's mission of building sustainable nutrition systems across Africa.
The role will identify, cultivate, secure and steward high-value partnerships with corporations, foundations, industry associations and business leaders to mobilize financial resources, in-kind support, and longterm strategic collaborations
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven business development professional with exceptional relationship management skills, a strong network across Rwanda's corporate landscape, and a proven ability to influence senior executives, develop compelling partnership propositions and convert opportunities into sustainable, high-impact collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Partnership Development
- Develop and execute Solid'Africa's Corporate Partnerships Strategy aligned with organizational fundraising and sustainability objectives.
- Build, manage and continuously strengthen a high-quality pipeline of corporate prospects across Rwanda.
- Identify opportunities within CSR, ESG, Shared Value, Sustainability and Corporate Philanthropy agendas.
- Cultivate relationships with CEOs, Managing Directors, Board Members and senior corporate decision-makers.
- Design tailored partnership models that align corporate priorities with Solid'Africa's strategic programmes.
- Lead negotiations and secure partnership agreements that create long-term value for both parties.
2. Revenue Generation & Resource Mobilization
- Deliver agreed annual corporate fundraising and partnership revenue targets.
- Mobilize financial, in-kind and strategic contributions from private-sector partners.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities for flagship programmes, campaigns and events.
- Expand employee giving, workplace fundraising, payroll giving and volunteer engagement initiatives.
- Build a diversified portfolio of corporate partners that contributes to the organization's long-term financial sustainability.
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and partnership pipeline reporting.
3. Strategic Relationship Management
- Serve as the principal relationship manager for corporate partners.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships that drive high levels of partner engagement and retention.
- Ensure effective stewardship through regular communication, impact reporting and executive engagement.
- Identify opportunities to renew, expand and deepen existing partnerships.
- Coordinate executive visits, partnership reviews and strategic engagement forums.
4. Partnership Communications & Brand Positioning
Working collaboratively with the Brand & Communications team, the incumbent will:
- Develop partner recognition and visibility strategies.
- Coordinate joint communication campaigns and public engagement initiatives.
- Produce compelling impact stories and partnership success cases.
- Ensure all partnerships align with Solid'Africa's brand standards and communication guidelines.
- Support media engagement and public recognition of corporate partners.
- Position Solid'Africa as the preferred corporate partner for nutrition, food systems and social impact initiatives.
5. Proposal Development & Business Growth
- Develop high-quality partnership proposals, sponsorship packages and investment cases.
- Prepare persuasive presentations and partnership pitches tailored to different industries.
- Package funding opportunities across Solid'Africa's strategic programmes, including:
- Hospital Feeding
- School Feeding
- Regenerative Agriculture
- Nutrition Education
- Culinary & Nutrition Capacity Development
- Lead partnership presentations, negotiations and due diligence processes.
6. Market Intelligence & Corporate Engagement
- Continuously map Rwanda's corporate ecosystem to identify emerging partnership opportunities.
- Monitor trends in CSR, ESG, sustainability and corporate philanthropy.
- Represent Solid'Africa at business forums, conferences and strategic networking events.
- Maintain an accurate corporate partnership database, prospect tracker and pipeline dashboard.
- Map Rwanda's corporate ecosystem and identify high-potential partners.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the Brand & Communications, Development, Programmes, Finance, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning, and Operations teams to ensure partnerships are effectively designed, implemented, monitored, reported and celebrated.

Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in Corporate Partnerships, Business Development, Corporate Fundraising, Sales/Key Account Management, Resource Mobilization or Corporate Relations. Experience within an NGO, development organization or social enterprise is desirable.
