Design, supply, installation, commissioning, validation and training of water purification system Tender at FXB Rwanda

FXB Rwanda is Rwandan Local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), whose mission to address the root causes of poverty as a means of securing children’s rights to survive, grow and develop and strives to be a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low-and moderate-income among vulnerable families affected/infected by HIV/AIDS by supporting them to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions.

FXB-Rwanda, through the Phyto-Social Enterprise (POSE) Project implemented in partnership with the National Industrial Research and Development Agency (NIRDA), is establishing a phytomedicine manufacturing facility at the NIRDA Life Science Laboratory located in Huye District, Rwanda.

Water is one of the most critical raw materials used in phytomedicine manufacturing. It is required for extraction processes, preparation of formulations, cleaning of equipment, cleaning of production areas, laboratory analyses, and other manufacturing activities. Poor water quality can directly affect the safety, efficacy, stability, and quality of finished products. For this reason, the project requires a water purification system capable of continuously producing purified water that complies with British Pharmacopeia (BP) specifications and applicable World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. 

FXB Rwanda therefore invites qualified and experienced firms to express their interest in undertaking the design, supply, installation, commissioning, qualification, validation, and training associated with the proposed water purification system. 

Interested and eligible bidders can obtain the tender document from FXB Rwanda Coordination Office located in Kamonyi District, Runda Sector, Ruyenzi Cell, Rubumba Village or electronically through procurement@fxbrwanda.org from Thursday June 11, 2026 through Friday, June 19, 2026 during working hours from 9h00 A.M. to 5h00 P.M. 

A Compulsory site visit scheduled on Tuesday June 16, 2026 at 10:00 am in NIRDA - Huye Life Science Laboratory in Huye District, Ngoma Sector, Butare Cell, Mamba Village. The visit will be led by FXB Rwanda and NIRDA.

Well printed original bid and properly bound headed by the letter addressed to the Executive Director of FXB Rwanda must be submitted to the office of FXB Rwanda to the above-mentioned address no later than Tuesday June 23, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. Electronic copy is not allowed.
