Background
SONARWA Life Assurance Company Limited (SONARWA LIFE) is a public limited liability company registered under the laws of Rwanda and licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda to transact the business of life assurance & pension management.
SONARWA Life wishes to recruit 30 talented and result-oriented direct sales agents to help expand company’s business; 6 agents in each province and 6 in Kigali City. The sales agent is responsible primarily to sell life products, providing advice and conducting intermediary services between the company and the clients.
Job Specifications
Job title: Direct Sales Agent
Reporting line: Territorial Sales Officer
Duration: Open-ended
Remuneration: Commission based on closed sales
Key Responsibilities
- Giving customers the required information regarding the insurance products offered by SONARWA Life Assurance Company Limited
- Identifying potential new clients
- Doing presentations whenever necessary to prospects and sell SONARWA Life insurance products suitable to their needs
- Providing after-sales service
- Maintaining and grow relationships with new and existing customers for further sales and service
- Attending all meetings and trade shows required by the Company
- Meeting sales targets as set by the company from time to time
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Qualifications
The applicant must have the following:
- A university degree (A0) in any field
- Having graduated at least two years ago (i.e. graduated in 2024 backwards)
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent sales acumen
- Customer service spirit
- Sufficient computer literacy
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
