On behalf of our client Rwanda Medical Supply (RMS), we are looking for a competent and experienced DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT to work in Kigali, Rwanda.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement RMS's procurement strategy aligned with organizational objectives and government expectations.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for procurement and sourcing activities across medicines, laboratory commodities, medical equipment, and non-medical supplies.
• Establish and maintain a world-class supplier base that supports quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for high-value and critical commodities.
• Ensure timely procurement of health commodities and other organizational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Global Healthcare Delivery, Operations Management, or another closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive professional experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a senior procurement management role.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working within the health sector, pharmaceutical supply chain, or healthcare procurement environment.
