Background

On behalf of our client Rwanda Medical Supply (RMS), we are looking for a competent and experienced DIRECTOR OF RISK, AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE to work in Kigali, Rwanda.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework aligned with RMS strategic objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership in strengthening governance, accountability, compliance, and internal control systems.
• Lead the development and execution of the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
• Oversee internal audits to assess operational efficiency, financial integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Auditing, Economics, or another related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of seven (10) years of progressive professional experience in Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or Financial Control.
• At least three (5) years in a senior management or leadership role within a large and complex organization.
