This role is within the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and involves managing intellectual property information.
Responsibilities or duties
Undertake publication of all required intellectual property rights information in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations; Manage all processes, systems and procedures relating to documentation of intellectual property applications and registered rights including inputting all required information and data in the relevant systems; Ensure stored data is up to date, accurate, well organized and well protected at all times Ensure stored information on Intellectual Property Rights is available to user and provide reliable and accurate requested information within the required timeframes; Respond timeously and accurately to all search requests on intellectual property applications and registrations rights; Manage efficient search and publication operations by maintaining an updated and modern search system of intellectual property information databases; Collaborate with key stakeholders such as the Prime Minister’s Office to ensure that IP information required to be published by these other stakeholders is availed on time and with the accurate information; Prepare comprehensive reports and statistics regularly and also as and when required. Perform any other duties assigned to her/him by the hierarchical supervisors Develop and maintain professional relationship with customers, colleagues and management
