Background

Horizon Logistics Ltd, a government-owned logistics company incorporated in 2010 and headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, specializing in Clearing & Forwarding, Transportation, and General Trading, is seeking to recruit highly experienced and competent professionals to strengthen its operations, support strategic growth, and enhance organizational effectiveness in the following areas:

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate audits and implement financial systems improvements.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to promote collaboration and information sharing.
• Present financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Continuously engage with external stakeholders to identify potential financial support, stay updated on financial best practices and leverage opportunities that enhance the organization’s financial sustainability and strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong financial management, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA) preferred.
• 5 years plus of relevant professional experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
