Job Summary

Responsible for recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposal of fixed assets and maintaining updated Assets Register. Qualification Note: Level II or intermediate level of accounting professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA) would be an added value.

Key Responsibilities

1 Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposal in the accounting system

2 Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and capitalise completed projects

3 Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset general ledger

4 Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets

5 Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation

Qualifications

A0 in FINANCE with 2 years of experience in FINANCE, 2 years of experience in ACCOUNTING

A0 in ACCOUNTING with 2 years of experience in FINANCE, 2 years of experience in ACCOUNTING

A0 in BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION with 2 years of experience in FINANCE, 2 years of experience in ACCOUNTING

A0 in COMMERCE with 2 years of experience in FINANCE, 2 years of experience in ACCOUNTING
