PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
An HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in guest rooms, offices, relevant storage rooms and other settings.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing filters or worn-out components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using testing equipment and technical knowledge
- Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, compressors, thermostats, and electrical parts
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards and regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Provide customers with recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or energy-efficient solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Maintain and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in guest rooms
- Perform any other tasks directed by concerned authorities
Minimum qualifications and experience required
- Should have at least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Air conditioning or relevant disciple with at least 3 years of working experience as HVAC Technician.
- An advanced Diploma (A1) in Electrical Engineering, Air conditioning or relevant disciple with at least more than 5 years of working experience as HVAC Technician.
- Have strong communication skills in English or French.
- Should have a clean disciplinary record of work
- Having worked in high end Hotels will be added advantage.
- Should be ready to start working as soon as possible.
