Job Summary

To plan, direct and control the financial resources of the company and ensure sound overall financial management and performance in line with the strategic plan, and lead a team of professional staff in line with the regulatory framework and accounting standards. Qualification Note: 1. Bachelor's Degree (A0) in Finance, Accounting or relevant field or a relevant professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA or CFA and at least 6 years of experience in a Finance related role, 3 of which should be at manager level with supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting function, including maintenance of general ledger
• Implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transaction
• Maintain financial accounting and control system for cash management, accounts payable, account receivable, mobile money, and treasury
• Lead, coach and supervise finance department staff under Financial Controller
• Maintain a proper management of suppliers and ensure that suppliers invoices are fully supported and paid on time
• Manage the cash flow (cash position) and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with company policies
• Working closely with both Internal and external auditors
• Maintain a proper management of customers/debtors
• Process and submit statutory deductions to the tax authority on time
• Participate in budget preparation process
• Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATE in ACCA with 6 years of experience in FINANCE
• A0 in ACCOUNTING with 6 years of experience in FINANCE
• A0 in FINANCE with 6 years of experience in FINANCE
• CERTIFICATE in CPA with 6 years of experience in FINANCE
• CERTIFICATE in CFA with 6 years of experience in FINANCE
