Background
INDATWA SACCO RUSIZI is a saving and credit cooperative created through the consolidation of 18 Umurenge SACCOs operating in Rusizi District, in line with Rwanda’s SACCO reform agenda aimed at strengthening governance, capital adequacy, risk management, and service delivery. The consolidation complies with Law No. 057/2024 governing cooperatives and Law No. 072/2021 governing deposit-taking microfinance institutions, and aligns with BNR regulatory standards.
It is from that background that the Management of INDATWA SACCO RUSIZI informs the public that it is recruiting competent and qualified staff to fill the following positions:
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Under the supervision and guidance of the Head of Operations:
- To work diligently on the assigned work on time and to produce results;
- To comply with the instructions of the employer or his/her representative;
- To take good care of and manage the equipment assigned to him/her in his/her work;
- To be at work and respect working days and hours;
- To maintain the confidentiality of work;
- To provide basic identification documents before starting work;
- To follow the principles and codes of conduct governing the business activities of the Cooperative;
- First line support for all computer and related hardware components for all branch staff at headquarter, branches and outlets;
- Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests;
- Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT hardware purchases;
- Ensures proper maintenance of computers peripherals, printer and all other hardware;
- Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems;
- Any other duty that does not conflict with the laws and regulations as requested by the Head of Operations or his/her superior authority.
Education & Experiences Required
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/MIS.
- Minimum one-year working experience in IT/Network field for MFIs/Banks.
- Good skills in installation, maintenance and repair of computer (Laptop and Desktop), Teller Printer, Money Counter, CCTV Cameras, LAN Equipment and related hardware equipment.
- Good integrity, positive attitude, helpful, high commitment, competence and motivation.
- Willing to travel to responsible branches and outlets
General Requirement
- To be Rwandan
- Not to have been definitely sentenced to a term of imprisonment equal to or exceeding six (6) months;
- Not to have been dismissed from any other institution unless applicant is entitled to reinstatement under laws and regulations in force;
- Not have been involved in the bankruptcy of a financial institution;
- To work diligently on the assigned work on time and to produce results;
- To comply with the instructions of the employer or his/her representative;
- To take good care of and manage the equipment assigned to him/her in his/her work;
