INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANCY FOR PRACTICUM PRECEPTORS AT UGHE
The MGNL program prepares nurses to lead transformative change in healthcare systems worldwide, addressing complex challenges such as health equity, policy development, and cross-cultural collaboration. The Practicum fosters the development of competencies in communication, strategic leadership, collaboration, transformative change, governance, decision making, Professionalism, diversity and inclusion, systems thinking and being politically savvy, according to Sigma Nursing. The practicum component is a cornerstone of the program, providing learners with experiential learning opportunities under the guidance of expert preceptors. Preceptors may be located in countries different from the university’s location, requiring adaptability to diverse cultural, regulatory, and healthcare environments, as well as proficiency in virtual or hybrid mentorship models.
