Rwanda Interlink Transport Company (RITCO Ltd) is a public-private entity providing sustainable solutions to public transport for both rural and urban populations.
we are looking for the interested, qualified, committed and competent candidate to apply for the position of Camera Operator.
Number of Positions :1
Reporting: The Chief Inspection and Security Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Install CCTV Camera and related equipment.
- Test the system to ensure all cameras are working correctly.
- Regularly inspect CCTV equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Detect suspicious activities, theft, accidents, or security threats.
- Immediately report unusual or suspicious activities to the Chief Inspection and Security Manager or management.
- Prepare incident reports when events occur.
- Ensure cameras are recording properly every time.
- Save and archive important video footage for investigations and future use.
- Control cameras (zoom, rotate, or focus) when needed.
- Operate monitoring screens, recording systems, and related equipment.
- Check cameras, monitors, and recording devices regularly.
- Assist Security and Inspection department by providing information about incidents seen on cameras.
- Help track movements of people and vehicles at work place when needed.
- Provide Technical support when cameras stop working.
- Recommend upgrades or improvements to the surveillance system.
Job Requirements and Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
- 3 years of working experience as cameras Operator
- Excellent communication, presentation and organization Skills.
