Overview
The institution is seeking a qualified and dedicated Technician to handle the maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, and related systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to the safety, functionality, and efficiency of the College’s infrastructure and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair electrical breakdowns and malfunctions
- Maintain and service electrical systems (e.g., replace bulbs, sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels)
- Check, service, and monitor generator performance
- Prepare technical specifications for procurement of electrical equipment or spare parts
- Perform minor repairs on furniture, doors, and windows
- Maintain the water installation system throughout the college
- Coordinate and collaborate with water supply contractors
- Submit periodic technical and maintenance reports
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Director of Administration and Finance related to technical maintenance
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in any of the following fields (no prior experience required):
- Electricity / Electrical Technology
- Plumbing
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Solar Energy / Renewable Energy
